BALLOT AT .NEW PLYMOUTH. The land fever is an epidemic which shows no sign of being oil the wane. At a ballot at the Land Board's office, New Plymouth, yesterday, for eight sections in the Mapara and Tangitu districts, there were no fewer than 208 applicants. For one section there were 74 disappointed applicants, and 55 for another.
