REFINERY SITE. The Taranaki (X.Z.) Oil Wells, Ltd.', has applied to the Land Board to acquire live acres of the Prisons Reserve; Moturoa, for the refinery site. At its' meeting yesterday the Board resolved that a recommendation be made under section 141 of the Land Act.. 1908, that the freehold of the land applied for be disposed of to the company at a valuation to he fixed by arbitration. Ltd.. have paid over to the liquidators the second payment, as arranged by the terms of sale, and due notice will be given by the liquidators when the money is available for shareholders. XG'AMOTU OTL WELLS, LTD. In our references to the Ngamotu Co ■ yesterday we stated that all the promoters will receive is 100 shares apiece. This is incorrect. The promoters receive no shares, nor do the directors, except any which they contribute.
