DROWNED AT FRENCH PASS. By Telegraph—Press Ass««iati»n. Nelson, Last Night. A man named Brittington, a member of the Marine Survey party, was drowned at French Pass on Saturday evening through falling off the wharf. A FATAL EXPLOSION. Greyni'outh, Monday. ■ The police have received word that a man named Lawrence Cagili was seriously injured by an explosion at Bealey Flat this morning, and died on the way to Otira Hospital. No further particulars are available.
