S.S. KOTARE DISABLED.
PORT REACHED IN SAFETY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Monday. The Maitai reported by wireless last night that the steamer Kotare had broken down off Chkisland's Mistake, between Invereargill and Dunedin. about (il miles east of the former place. No particulars are available. Invereargill, Last Night. The Kotare broke her tail shaft off Cliasland's Mistake. The Maitai towed her to Dog Island, and, temporary repairs having been effected, she came on to the Bluff under her own steam. She will go into dock at Port Chalmers for repairs.
