ALLEGED CORRUPTION.

THE NEW SOUTH WALES CHARGES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 19, 11:20 p.m. Sydney, August 19. At the Royal Commission appointed as a result of the speeches of Messrs. Parkes and Henley in the General Assembly to enquire whether the Minister for Public Works was guilty of corrupt practices in connection with certain public works, Mt. Henley's counsel asked for an enlargement of the commission to admit of the question whether the Minister was guilty of maladministration. The commissioner said he would limit the charges to corrupt practices. He had nothing to do with questions of administration. Counsel thereupon, intimated that he would tender no evidence if limited to corrupt practices. Parkes wrote, stating lie was willing to appear when called.
