Prince Louisi of Orleans, while visiting his castle at Eunieppe, discovered Nieutin, formerly a footman in the castle, crouching under a staircase. Though Nieutin had a loaded revolver and a dagger, the Prince overpowered the burglar. The Imperial Crown of Brazil, much bent, was found in Nieutin's overcoat.
