! NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. McCormick played an exhibition match against, McCord and Gary's best ball on the New Plymouth Club's links yesterday afternoon. They were "all square" at -the eighteenth hole, and played oil till the nineteenth, when McCormick won. TliK TARAHUA CLUB. An enjoyable mixed foursomes match was played on the Tarahua links yesterday afternoon. The best card returned was that of Miss Stoddart and C. H. Drew. 85 (27) 58; Miss F. Putt and ,T. List were runners up with 78 (14) 64. The match was played over 115 holes. The following are the drawings for the_ mixed foursomes to be played on Saturday, August 17:—Miss K. Knott and V. Baird v.
