WANGANUI (3) v. TARANAKI (1). By Telegraph— Press Association. vVanganui, Last Night. Wanganui and Taranaki playsd a representative hockey match to-day. The conditions were almost ideal, and Wanganui won by three goals to one. THE LADIES' MATCH. Wanganui, Last Night. The Wanganui ladies scored a rather ! lucky win over the Taranaki ladies by I two goals to one. WAIRARAPA 5 v. HOROWHENUA 0. !. Masterton, Last Night. A hookey match between Wairarapa and I-lorowhenua was played here to-day jin fine weather and before a good attendance of the public. The home team too superior combination, their ■ passing being a feature of the match. .The first spell was all in favor of Wai•rarapa, who scored four goals. The second spell was more even, one goal beling scored for Wairarapa. The final scores were Wairarapa 5, Horowhenua 0.
