They handcuffed six men and one woman, illtreated them, robbed the buildings and escaped in a motor with a sum of money. They secured admittance by pretending they were police officers searching for murderers. •MORE BURGLARIES IN SYDNEY. Received 15, 10.30 p.m. Sydney, August 15. Burglars are again active. During the last few days one safe has been robbed and two others futilely attempted, • A resident at Waverley fired at a man entering his house. He chased the burglar, who knocked his pursuer down and escaped. The post office safe at Matong was blown open and £4O stolen.
