Duffield, of Adelaide, offers the Commonwealth a spectro-heliograph, a pyrhelio-meter and a Lettrow spectrograph, which, with the apparatus already accepted, will enable a solar observatory to be built for Australia, in order that she may participate in international research, completing the circle of observatiories round the world.
