"SIT TIGHT." By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. Mr. J. A. Scott, secretary of the South Island Dairy Association, has received cable advice from London that some firms which were among tlu largest buyers of New-Zealand cheese last season, are now offering forward outputs of cheese, from the Dominion at (ils and upwards. Mr. Scott considers that this is an attempt to frighten buyers and depress the market. The firms referred to are stated to have made sales at 01s, hut Mr. Scott advises factories to sit tight till the end of September. He considers that the prospects during the incoming season for good butter and cheese are excellent.
