ABSENT FROM DRILL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Oamaru, Last Night. P. P. Welsh, a Territorial, was fined £1 and costs for failing to render personal service. He pleaded guilty and gave as an excuse that he was a jockev and would have to give up his job if he attended drill. The magistrate held that this was no excuse for not attending camp, and counselled Welsh to arrange for his attendance at parades when absent from Oamaru,
