DEATH FROM BURNS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christcburch, Last Night. Mrs. Williamson, aged 77, who was severely burned in a fire in the city on Tuesday night, died in the hospital to. day. Mrs. Williamson, who was very short-sighted, was sitting by an open fireplace in her bedroom when by some means her clothes became ignited. With her clothes ablaze she rushed out to Miss Henry, the other occupant of the house, who was engaged in the kitchen. Miss Henry threw a bucket of water oyer her, and pluckily attempted to extinguish the flames, and ahe also was apparently severely burned. The injured ladies were taken to the hospital. Miss Henry's injuries were found not to be very serious, but Mrs. Williamson suffered intensely and never rallied from the shock. At an inquest held to-day a verdict of accidental death from burning was returned.
