The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date June 7:—Frozen Meat.—There is little change in the position previously cabled on May 31. The strike continues and the prices are very irregular. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cablegram from their London office, under date June 6, in regard to frozen meat, as follows:—Lamb.—Since our last cablegram prices are nominally %d to %d per lb. higher. Mutton.—Prices are J / 8 d to %d per lb. higher. Beef.—Beef is %d per lb. higher. There is considerably less demand for frozen meat. Prices will probably decline wien goods that have arrived are available.
