A MILITARY STRIKE

A CURIOUS CASE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. In connection with the strike of the members of the No. 7 Garrison Artillery it is understood that Lieutenant Parker has since resigned his commission. It is stated that 99 men absenting themselves from yesterday's parade made themselves liable to a fine of £1 each, but it is further asserted that they find consolation in the knowledge that, altogether, yesterday's parade was missed by about a thousand men in the garrison, and that the authorities must take proceedings against the whole lot, and not individualise. An official enquiry will be held into the circumstances of the case.
