DISASTROUS FIRE
A HUNDRED HOUSES BURNED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 4, 9.50 p.m. Constantinople, June 4. A fire at Istamboul destroyed a hundred houses over an area of threequarters of a mile, including several mosques and annexes of mosques. The Sultan Ahmed Mosque itself escaped, except the minaret. Great distress is probable.
