THE OLYMPIC GAMES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Friday. In reference to the amount required for Hill's expenses at the Olympic games, it is understood that the sum lias been subscribed, but, owing to the absence of the secretary, the subscription cards have not yet been collected. Stratford' 6 paddock, like other functions, were somewhat marred by the weather. The attendance, however, was fair and the racing keenly contested. Mr. W. H. Judd, as secretary, was quite "au fait." Mr. J. B. Hine, M.P. for the district, was present during the afternoon. The results of the events were as follows: Boys' Race, under 14.—Hollis 1, Stevenson 2.
