The Minister for Education refused a request from the Stage Children's Association to allow children under ten years to be employed in places of amusement, and asking that the age be fixed at seven. GALE IN SYDNEY. I Sydney, April 22. Considerable damage was done by yesterday's blow. A factory in course of construction at Botany was blown down, the damage amounting to £ISOO. Several buildings were unroofed, and trains were derailed.
