FIRES.
A TIMBER MILL BURNT. Auckland, Last Night. News has been received that the Northern Timber Company's mill at Taupiri was burned to tho ground on Sunday morning. A bucket brigade was formed but could not suppress the outbreak. The papers and safes were saved. It is believed that the insurance amounted to about £IOOO, but the loss should exceed this amount.
