Messrs E. flrifliths and Co. are in receipt of the following market report from their London principals, Messrs Mills and Spar •ow, dated February 10: — Trade continues to run along steadily. The present bicis of price seems just about right for the available supplies. 'Danish: Tii" quotation remains unchanged. Siberian: There has been no arrival this week, as the steamer could not get away owing to bad weather, so that a double quantity is expected next week. Australian: There has been a good steady demand for this week's Initio per s.s. MooHait. which brought about :iS.I)IiH boxes. The quality, although not up to the best standard, is fairly goo- 1 , ami very nnH-h belter than what it ivs' a fortnight hack. We are advised that tiie shipment from Australia this week is (111!;, I hove... This, of cnurs '. >-ho\v.- a very -li.'hi' eg<-. and it 11-, fore look- if -llppiics wi!! he V-ry short during the latter part of Mar.-ii and April. Xew /(-aland: Although the s.s. Corinthic docked at the end of last "week, very few of her butters are as yet landed. The discharging of this vessel has been very badly done, and buyers all round are complaining of the serious delay.

The trade has been good and values are unchanged. We are pleased to see the ehipments from the Dominion keeping up so well, as with the great shortage of Australian butter there is no doubt that every package will be badly wanted.
