VIOLENT EARTHQUAKE
A TERRORISED COMMUNITY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. ■Received 29, 10.10 p.m. Paris, March 29. A violent earthquake has been experienced in the Department of Correnze. A fissure five yards wide opened in the hillside overlooking the village of St. Solve. The railway station was strewn with rocks and furniture was overturned in the houses, and the occupants spent the night out of doors, despite drenching rain.
