Four whites who were supposed to have been drowned at Balla Balla have returned from Roeburn, where they effected a safe landing. THE MISSING KOOMBANA. AN EXHAUSTIVE SEARCH. Received 29, 11.25 p.m. Melbourne, March 29. The Commonwealth Government has informed the Westralian Government that it is prepared to bear a proportion of the cost of any search (or the missing Koombana. The Westralian Government replied that everything possible was being done. The steamers Bullara and Una were despatched to make a special search. Several luggers were dispatched to' examine the coast and men were also being sent along the coast line to explore the foreshores from the land. The Federal Government has instructed the trawler Endeavor to proceed from the Australian Bight to assist in the search.
