AN IMPORTANT MOVE. An important phase of the proposal to instal a tramway scheme in New Plymouth is made known as the result of a resolution of a committee meeting of the Borough Council. The committee decided to authorise the Mayor (Mr, G. W. Browne) to arrange with Mr. F. Black, of Wellington, to report upon the question as follows: Fitzroy to the New Plymouth Railway Station, via Devon and Egmont Streets. Morley Street from Wallace Place (opposite Mr. Arthur Standish's), along Devon Street to Egmont Street. Vogeltown to Devon Street. Recreation Grounds gate to Devon Street.
