NOT YET FORMED. RESIGNATION OP HON. R. McKENZZIE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The most important development today in connection with the formation of the Cabinet was the resignation of the Hon. R. McKenzie. Seen by a pressman, he said: "An impression got abroad that I was simply blocking the formation ol the new Ministry, and to make the position easier for my namesake' I have sent in my resignation to the Governor this afternoon." It is understood that he will consult his constituents on the events leading up to his resignation. The Governor is expected from Dannevirke to-morrow evening, but it is uncertain whether the Hon. Thomas Mackenzie will he ready with the new Cabinet.
