THE LITHGOW STRIKERS. By CaMe—Press Association—Cepyright. SYDNEY, March 18. A ballot of Lithgow strikers overwhelmingly rejected the proposed terms of settlement. MINING DISPUTE SETTLED. Received March 19, 12.55 a.m. Sydney, March 18. An agreement has been reached between the western coalowners and the miners embodying a penny advance in the hewing rate and the concession of preference to unionists. It requires ratification by the miners' lodges.
