TAIHAPE'S SHOW. -' By Telegraph—Press Association. Taihape, Yesterday. The first show of the Rangitikei A. & P. Association was held here yesterday, and was a great success. Five thousand persons were present. Herefords were a magnificent exhibit. Mr. Short's stock and horses were very strong in numbers and quality. Sheep were well represented, and home industries was a very large class. Mr. Short secured the Hereford cup, A. R. Fannin annexed the Romney championship, Mr. Short's Dinizulu was champion hack, and Mrs. A. E. Gibbon's Silver headed the pony class. The judges praised the entries as a whole.
