CENSURE MOTION DEFEATED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, February 23. The censure motion was defeated on the application of the closure by 4fl votes to 34. MR. SPEAKER WILLIS AGAIN. Received 24, 12.30 a.m. Sydney, February 23. In the Assembly Mr. Levein gave notice to move an amended motion on Monday that because of his partiality to the Ministerialists and his unfair treatment of the Oppositionists Mr. Speaker Willis has forfeited the confidence of the House.
