SUSPENDED FOR EXPERIMENTS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne, February 21. The official statement of the operations of the State brickworks shows that the cost of construction was £IO,OOO, working expenses £5700, and revenue £16,090. The works have been closed pending experiments by the manager of the New South Wales State works. Mr. Griffith, New South Wales Minister, discussing the failure, declared that hw works would have been a failure if he had obtained an expert from the eombine.
