STRIKERS GO A-PICNICKING.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. There is no change to report in con nection with the strike of laborers at Petone and Ngahauranga meat workb. The strikers and their families enjoyed themselves at a picnic to-day. Mr. Hally, Conciliation Commissioner, is expected to return from Napier o» Thursday night. It is understood he will endeavor to get the meat workers and employers to meet him in order to try and adjust -their differences.
