THE HOME RULE QUESTION.

ULSTER'S DREAD OF ROME,

By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, February 11. The Rev. Dr. R. F. Horton, formerly chairman of the Congregational Union of England and Wales, writing to the Times, says that Nonconformists in England and Wales understand Ulster's dread of Rome. Nonconformists would feel compelled' by political principles to support Home Rule even if Ulster's fears were realised, that a shifting of population would take place.

He personally hoped that the large Irish population in the English cities would drift back to Ireland, and that the Protestants in Ireland would return tc England and Scotland.
