A NURSE INJURED. % Telegraph— Press Association. Napier, Thursday. Nurse Sullivan, whilst cycling, collided with a lorry, one wheel of which went >right over her jaw and inflicted shocking injuries. News has been received at Huntly to the effect that the body of a man was found in the river at Foster's Island. The identity of the person's at present unknown. The police are investigating. BABY FATALLY SCALDED. Auckland, Last Night. An inquest was held to-day concerning the death of Robert Ellis Cuthbertson, aged 20 months, who died from scalds on Wednesday night, v The evidence showed that the child was playing with a paper bag. He put the bag on his head and it slipped ovrr his eyes, the child being practically blindfolded. He ran into the stove and pulled a saucepan of boiling water over him. A verdict of death by misadventure was. returned.
