EMPIRE THEATRE. "THE BRIDE~QF THE NILE." Beautifully mounted, magnificently costumed, superbly acted, and produced with the most extraordinary attention to the minutest detail, "The Bride of the Nile' ranks aa one of the greatest classical star pictures ever introduced to the moving picture world. The Cines Co. have placed many brilliant and wonderful creations at the pleasure of the pic-ture-lovmg public, a notable example, shown a short time back in Whiteley Hall, The Crusaders," created a furore ooally, and in this their latest success the company have equalled if not excelled that marvellous production. The story depicts the mystical and pathetically tragic ceremony of offering a human sacrifice to the Deity of'the Me, and in this instance it includes a touching and very human love interest. The legend seems to make a "living atmosphere" as the story is unfolded, and so clearly is the subject portrayed that no unusual tax is put upon the intelligence of the onlooker. The photographic qualifies are immense, and the general effects .obtained of light and shade stamp this as one of the most remarkable specimens of motion photography that has yet been launched on the picture-loving community. To-night this great film will be shown for the last time, when, in addition to the ordinary programme, the management will again include Selig's' great animal picture, "The Jungle "
