News has been received in Coromandel that the 18 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Turner, of Port Chalmers, was drowned in a well on Monday afternoon. FATAL FALL FROM BUGGY. Nelson, Last Night. •The inquest touching the death 'of Wm. Cassidy, who died as a result of a trap accident while driving With others from Takata to Tarakohe on December 11, was concluded to-day, when the jury returned a verdict that deceased met his death, through falling from a buggy while intoxicated. The jury added a rider to effect that the evidence was most unsatisfactory, as most of the witnesses were "under the influence" at the time of the accident.
