DISAPPEARANCE FROM A STEAMER. ! By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. So far no further trace has been found of Ida Percival, who went amissing from the Mokoia on Friday morning. A rumor that the young lady had been seen ashore on Friday proved unfounded. DROWNED IN A WELL. Auckland, Last Night. News has been received in Coromandel that the 18 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Turner, of Port Chalmers, was drowned in a well on Monday afternoon. FATAL FALL FROM BUGGY. Nelson, Last Night. •The inquest touching the death 'of Wm. Cassidy, who died as a result of a trap accident while driving With others from Takata to Tarakohe on December 11, was concluded to-day, when the jury returned a verdict that deceased met his death, through falling from a buggy while intoxicated. The jury added a rider to effect that the evidence was most unsatisfactory, as most of the witnesses were "under the influence" at the time of the accident. They considered there were grounds for further investigation. FALL FROM TRAM. Wellington, Last Night."
