CANADIAN TRAIN COLLISION.
37 BELIEVED DEAD. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright, Received 10, 12.30 a.m. Ottawa, January 9. Two Canadian-Pacific trains crashed into one another, head-on, at Terrebonne, Quebec. The trains were running at full speed, and were crowded with passengers, who were attending special Epiphany services. Thirty-seven are reported dead, but it, is impossible at present to ascertain the actual'number. Many bodies were recovered from the wreckage.
