Private detectives arrested John McNainara, charged with complicity in the New Westminster bank robbery in October last. McNamara is the proprietor of a restaurant at San Francisco. ' Simultaneously, Charles Dean, described as an Australian, was arrested at Los Angeles on a similar charge. The Pinkerton detectives followed the men across the continent. .
