A HUMOR DENIED. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Received 10. 1.5 p.m. Hobart, January 9. H.M.S. Encounter has arrived, A denial is given, to the Sydney report that the warship had wireless communication with Mawson's party at Macquarie Islands while off the New Zealand coast. It is also stated she did not speak the Sydney station.
