A DROWNING TRAGEDY.

Alfred Henry Pritohard, a single man, aged 29, a laborer, was., drowned at Hellyers Creek, near Birkdale, on Friday, owing to th« capsize; of a punt in which he and William Hare-were row-| ing. The punt was old and leaky. Hare' tried to rescue Pritchard. His sister; aged 19, also plunged' in fully dressed and swam to his assistance, but before sh« neached him he sank in twelve feet of water.
