CHEAPER CABLES.
ALLEGATION BY MR. HENNIKER , HEATON. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 9, 12.25 a.m. Melbourne, January 8. Mr. Henniker Heaton, advocating cheap cables, says that while each of the four or five lines to Australia had a yearly capacity of ten million words, the total number sent over them was only Beven and a half million. He contended that -ome of the lines were deliberately kept die by trusts.
