Mornand, the Belgium Director ofCustoms, has been appointed provisional Treasurer-General, with a commission consisting of four Persians. Reuter reports that the Russians at Tabriz court-martialled and executed Dava-Faurush, chief of the Fidai military organisation, Mahomed Khan Fidai, a leader, and two joint editors of a revolutionary paper. Dava-Faurush's house was blown up.
