BOTTOMLEY'S BANKRUPTCY
BIG LIABILITIES. By TelegTaph—Press Association. Received 29, 10.10 p.m. London, December 29. The official receiver states that the assets of Bottomley, who has filed a petition in bankruptcy, were estimated at £30,000, but was "very doubtful regarding the realisable value. The debtor received £2OOO yearly for the editorship of the newspaper •'John Bull." besides £4OOO, being Id per cent, on its net profits.
Mr. Bofctomley's liabilities are stated o be £l-70,000. Proofs have been lodged 'or £220,700.
