Five hundred medical practitioners in Glasgow by an overwhelming majority resolved not to work under the Insurance Bill unless the regulations conceded the British Medical Associations six cardinal points. Sir James Barr, president-clect'of the association, telegraphed wishing the movement every success, adding: "The Insurance Act must not be allowed to disgrace the Statute Book." Received 29, 10.10 p.m. London, December 20. Twelve thousand doctors have signed a definite pledge against service under the Insurance Bill.
