HORRIBLY DEGRADING PRACTICES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland. Last Night. Mr. Ewingham, an official visitor t-o the Mental Hospital in his report to the Government, comments most adversely on the overcrowded state of that institution. Overcrowding, he states, leads to practices positively unmentionable, >So horribly degrading are they that he appeals to the Government to act promptly and solemnly in the matter.
