SLY-GROGGERS HEAVILY FINED. By Telegraph—Press Association Dunedin, Last Night. Francis Porter, ex-publican at Caveirshani, who had lost his license by process of reduction after the 1908 licensing poll, was lined £4O and costs 11b for selling liquor without a license. W. F. Payne and his wife were charged with illegally selling liquor in a tea-room at Woodliaugh. The man was convicted and lined £25 and costs. The charge against the wife wa<s dismissed.
