.SIR JOSEPH WARD INTERVIEWED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Friday. Sir Joseph Ward, interviewed .by a Post representative in refenee to the political position, and the course he intends to take in view of the results of the general election, said that Parliament, had been prorogued to-day until January 10, and that he had no further statement to make at present. Wellington, Last Night. The official announcement was issued yesterday that Parliament is prorogued until January 10.
Tim Prime Minister, when asked if this meant that Parliament would meet next month, or if he would make a statement regarding the Government's intentions, replied that lie would not be able to do so until after the Christmas holidays.
