VVAREA. (From Our Own Correspondent.) A .meeting for the purpose of forming a tennis club in Warea was held in the hall on Monday night, when there were about eighteen present. H was decided to form a club and call it the '•(llenferrie" Tennis Club. Messrs. Yv". Taylor, J. Robinson, 11. F. Andrews, and' C. W. Revell were elected a committee to inspect ground s and report at Saturday night's meeting. A piece of ground has been'given by Mr. W. Revell. It was decided to write to the secretary of the Oakum Club re price of their 'not. A general committee will be formed on Saturday night. It is certain that over twenly members can lie pro.-ured for a start. Our local store ami post office will close for its half-holidays on Wednesdays at two o'clock sharp. Mr. Hine, the Opposition member, will speak in the hall on Monday night, 20th., and a large attendance is expected.
