The judges were. Mesdamcs Stubbs and Vanghan, who had a most difficult task in making their awards. MY, Armstrong had charge of the children's sports, and the following had charge of the stalls:—Fruit and lollies.l Mrs. Kettle, Misses Jones and Crow; Christmas tree and bran tub, Mrs. Bicheno, Misses Ulander, Pennington, Bullot, Brough and Herriek. The Waitara Band played a number of selections during the afternoon, and also played in front of St. John's Hall in the evening. In St. John's Hall in the evening, a concert was held and was fairly well attended, considering the wet night. Mr. 0. J. Herriek, C.T., presided, and on the platform were Sister Miss Grimley. Bros. Legg, Maunder and Armstrong. The following contributed to the programme:— Pianoforte solo, Mr. Lewis; song, Mr. Howell: recitation, Mr. C. Pepperill; song. Miss Rea; recitation, Mr. Scott; song. Miss Bayden; song, Miss Guilford; recitation, Miss B. Legg; duet, Misses Guildford; song, Mr. Tapp; song. Miss Butler; recitation, Mr. Scott: song, Mr. W. ,T. Smith; instrumental duet. Master and Miss Weston; song, Mr. Lees; pianoforte solo, Miss Brough. Sister Miss Grimier and Bro. Legg gave short speeches. Mr. Armstrong moved a vote of thanks to all who had assisted at the garden party and concert, mentioning specially Mrs. Jones, for the use of the grounds, and the Waitara Band, for their services. The singing of the National Anthem brought a very Mifressful meeting to a «'lobc.
