The route was crowded, and the King and Queen were loudly cheered. j Ministers and Ambassadors, Sir George Reid, Sir William Hall-Jones, and three hundred notables bade tttc King and Queen farewell at Victoria Station. : The steamer Medina, with their Majesties aboard, left Portsmouth in the afternoon. The fleet at Spithcad saluted, and the first division of the Home fleet accompanied the Medina down the channel, providing a fine spectacle. THE RED SEA. RE-LIGHTING THE LIGHTHOUSES. London, November 12. Turkey has agreed during the Medina's passage through the Red Sea to re-light the lights extinguished owing to the war.
