ROBBERS' BOOTY
A BIG FIND. By Cable —Frcss Association—Copyright Ottawa, November 3. Twenty-five thousand pounds in notes and gold has been found hidden underneath the sidewalk near the scene of the robbery from the Bank of Montreal, at New Westminster, on September 15. The robbers were unable to carry off their booty, and hoped to return for it. Other notes have been found circulating in Eastern Canada. The police have renewed their activity, and the Finkerton detectives are hopeful of tracing the thieves shortly. AN ACRE,ST EFFECTED. Received fi, 12.45 a.m. New York, November 5. Zozcyt. a native of South Europe, has been arrested at Vancouver and charged with implication in the Bank of Montreal robbery. He had 4000 marked bills in his possession.
