FIRES.
A COTTAGE DESTROYED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. A four-roomed house at St. Helier's court, Caversham rise, owned and occupied by Mr. G. A. Cassidy, was burnt down at 1 o'clock this morning. The house was insured in the Victoria Office for £3OO, and the contents in the Royal Exchange Assurance Office for £l5O. The next house, owned and occupied by Mrs. J. W. Milne, was slightly damaged.
