Under the will of the late Countess of Seafield the estates follow the title and are left in trust for the present Earl, who is entitled to reside in one or both houses. His income is increased, and when he dies the estates go to his successor. The will provides for numerous legacies for public institutions, estate officials, relatives and servants.
